The Australian Silver Kangaroo is one of the most traditional series of the Perth Mint. It reaches its 9th edition in 2024, with the Kangaroo, a native marsupial in Australia, stamping gold and silver coins. The 2024 edition is a landmark in the series. For the first time, the effigy of King Charles III, the succeeding Monarch of the British Commonwealth, will be depicted in the Kangaroo Series.
